We work directly with an herbal center and farm in New Hampshire who has been growing Apple Mint for over 30 years to bring you this herbal tea!
A rare, heirloom mint varietal, Apple Mint is known for its sweet, fruity and delicate flavor. A very unique and comforting brew, compared to its stronger cousins Peppermint and Spearmint.
Our Apple Mint is harvested at peak bloom to maximize essential oil content and dehydrated at low temperatures to preserve flavor and vibrancy. It’s grown in a permaculture way and never sprayed with any chemicals or pesticides.
The scientific name is Mentha suaveolens. And just so you’re 100% sure! There is NO apple in this tea, it’s just mint leaves and is called Apple Mint because of its Apple-like/fruity flavor when brewed.

It brings me great to joy to present Apple Mint and share it with you as our first ever tea. As I was traveling the country scouting for the best herbs ... I stumbled into a tiny apothecary in Portsmouth, New Hampshire where I discovered Apple Mint on the shelf and was immediately intrigued. I loved mint but had never tried (or even heard of) Apple Mint! Also, it had been grown at a farm just down the road and was bright, vibrant and frankly set a new standard for my herbal tea obsession. Fast forward a few months and I visited the farm where the Apple Mint is grown and struck a deal to buy as much as I could. It was heartwarming to see how much care the farm takes in growing their herbs each step of the way. I vividly remember the smile and excitement from Wendy, the owner of the farm when we were discussing how I planned to put her tea into teabags and sell it around the country. More people could enjoy her beloved Apple Mint! Yay!
