Switching To Shopify

You are in our flagship store right now. 

I want it to be the right mood. Calm, simple, elegant, artisanal. Signaling quality and trust.

You should get a feeling of excitement every time you load our site. Curious what new potions and elixirs await. 

It seems weird that the tech back-end is what's holding up our public tea shop launch, but that's whats happening.

I built the first version of the site on Squarespace and I love it. But, the goal of this website is functionality, not beauty. Yes, I want it to be as beautiful as possible, but that is secondary to the flow of commerce.

Being able to buy our tea in a fast, simple and secure way is super important. Shopify will help us do that, especially as we scale (which is my goal).

So I've spent the last few days rebuilding the site on Shopify, and this is my test blog post to see how the blog looks.

Content and writing will be an important part of how Galileo Tea communicates with the world, so this needs to be like a fancy magazine ... not a 'blog'. Anyway, that's probably to high of hopes.
